Quick answer

Face a figure and press E on PC or RT on controller to pick it up. Move to its accepted placement and press E or RT again to place it. Q on PC and LT on controller drop the held figure instead. On PC, use the number keys to switch figures.

The official objective in Clean the Anime Figures, the Puzzle experience by Jobless Cleaners, is to collect figures scattered around the store and place them back. Up to 20 players can share a server.

Pick up a figure

  1. Move close enough to the loose figure to interact with it.
  2. Face the figure so your interaction targets it.
  3. Press E on PC or RT on controller.
  4. Confirm that the figure is now held before moving away.

Place the figure back

  1. Carry the figure through the store toward a shelf location that accepts it.
  2. Face the placement interaction.
  3. Press E or RT, the same input used for pickup.
  4. Check that the figure leaves your held state and remains in the position.

Placement is different from dropping. A drop only releases the figure: press Q on PC or LT on controller. Use drop when you picked up the wrong object or want to stop carrying it; use E/RT when you are attempting the actual return.

Switch figures on PC

If you are carrying more than one selectable figure state, press the relevant number key to switch the held figure before interacting with a placement. The official controls do not list an equivalent controller switch button, so this guide does not invent one.

When a placement does not work

  • Confirm you used E/RT rather than the drop input.
  • Face the interaction instead of standing beside or behind it.
  • On PC, switch the held figure with the number keys and retry.
  • If the position still refuses the interaction, drop the figure and test another visible match.

Your next route should start with the nearest visible shelf group, keeping the pickup location and placement attempt close together.

The creator's listing announces the Huge Store map but does not publish a complete figure-to-slot table. For confirmed placement behavior without guessed coordinates, see Figure Placement.

A repeatable one-figure test

When you are unsure whether the problem is the input or the match, reduce the task to one figure and one placement attempt.

  1. Stand directly in front of a loose figure and press E or RT once.
  2. Verify that the figure entered your held state before leaving the pickup area.
  3. Move to one visually plausible placement and face its interaction point.
  4. Press E or RT once. Do not press the drop input during this test.
  5. If the figure remains held, adjust your facing and distance, then retry the same interaction.
  6. If the interaction works but rejects the match, use a PC number key to select another held figure or drop with Q/LT and test a different visible match.

Keeping the test this small prevents three causes from being mixed together: failing to target the loose figure, pressing the drop command, and carrying a figure that does not belong at the attempted position.

Common failure modes

  • Nothing is picked up: move closer, face the loose figure, and retry E/RT. Confirm the target rather than pressing repeatedly while moving past it.
  • The figure falls to the floor: Q on PC and LT on controller are drop controls. Return to the figure and use E/RT to pick it up again.
  • A shelf interaction does not complete: adjust your facing and interaction distance. If E/RT works on pickup but not at this position, test a different visible match instead of assuming the controls changed.
  • The wrong carried figure is active on PC: use the number keys to switch, then repeat the placement input. The official listing does not document a controller switch button.
  • You cannot collect another figure: check the live Held counter. If its numerator equals its denominator, place or drop something before continuing.

Frequently asked questions

Is pickup a different button from placement?

No. The official Roblox description assigns E on PC and RT on controller to both pickup and placement.

What is the difference between place and drop?

Placement uses E/RT at an accepted interaction and advances the return objective. Drop uses Q on PC or LT on controller to release the held figure without claiming a successful match.

Can another player be in the same store?

Yes. The official Roblox games API identifies a server limit of 20 players. That fact does not change the documented pickup and placement inputs.

Where is the complete slot map?

The reviewed official sources do not publish one, so this guide does not assign guessed coordinates. Use visible matching cues and the short diagnostic loop above.
